Melissa Carrier   Ms. Carrier is a Professor of Practice in the Department of Public Policy at UNC. She is also the founder and former Executive Director of the Center for Social Value Creation at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business, as well as served as the Assistant Dean for the Office of Global Initiatives at UMD. While at UMD, she launched the Social Venture Consulting program - a platform intended to allow students to designs scalable, innovative solutions for nonprofit and social enterprise organizations.

Tim Flood   Dr. Flood is an Associate Professor of Management and Corporate Communication in the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School. In addition to his work with the World Bank/IFC and Egyptian Institute of Directors, Dr. Flood serves as an advisor for presentation skills, global communication, and writing within the context of business and social entrepreneurship.

Don Holzworth   Mr. Holzworth is the executive entrepreneur-in-residence at the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health, as well as the entrepreneur-in-residence for Blackstone Entrepreneurs Network North Carolina. He is chairman of the Gillings School advisory council and an adjunct professor of health policy and management.

He also served as a member of the Tobacco Products Scientific Advisory Committee (TPSAC) for the United States Food and Drug Administration from 2012 to 2016.
